BEERBURG
Beerburg is a family-owned passion project rooted in a deep love for the Texas Hill Country and community-building. A destination brewery turned private event venue, we host memorable events for both local and visiting guests. With native-inspired landscape design and locally foraged ingredients in our wildcrafted beers, we invite you to experience Texas in a truly authentic way!

A BRIEF HISTORY OF OUR JOURNEY
Passionate Folks Creating Unforgettable Experiences
Beerburg opened its doors in 2020, led by Trevor Nearburg, a brewer and herbalist, with the help of his parents as a family-owned brewery and restaurant focused on using native Texas ingredients in its “Wildcrafted” beers. The next 4 years would see Beerburg grow into a local staple for good beer, good food, and good vibes. In early 2024, the decision was made to evolve the space into a private event venue while staying true to its roots of nature-crafted experiences and Hill Country hospitality.
2010-2012
Establishing Beerburg’s Roots
Going back a bit, the story really starts in 2010 when Trevor caught the brewing bug from his twin brother Ross. In college, Ross took the leap from craft beer enthusiast to homebrew hobbyist, and inevitably brought the hobby back home with him. Before long, the whole family was hooked and brewing on the back porch! The twins were pursuing individual careers, but shared a vision of one day opening a brewery. It didn’t take long before they realized waiting wasn’t an option, and in 2012 they decided together to leave their jobs and start building careers as professional brewers.

2012-2016
Cultivating Brewery Skills
Both were hired on at a regionally distributing Texas brewery, where they studied during their lunch breaks and asked a LOT of questions. Trevor went on to hone his skills as Head Brewer at a brewpub in Austin, while Ross was provided an opportunity in leadership in Supply Chain Management. Over the next several years, they each built experience on different sides of the industry, Trevor in creativity and brewing, Ross in logistics and leadership, with the long-term dream of building something of their own.
2016 - 2020
Manifesting Our Dream Space
That dream became a reality in 2020 with the opening of Beerburg. Taking point, Trevor designed the space with the guest experience, and the land, in mind. The spacious indoor taproom was built to feel welcoming in all seasons, the beer garden was curated to profile native species in a 3-tiered canopy, and the west-facing porch became a favorite spot to gather and watch the gorgeous Texas sunsets. Every part of Beerburg reflects the Nearburg family’s desire to foster hospitality and connection while inspiring guests with the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

2020 - 2024
Serving the Community
Beerburg officially opened just two weeks before the 2020 pandemic lockdown. Although it was an unexpected challenge at the very start of our journey, we made it through, and upon reopening we had a renewed purpose to serve our neighbors and create a welcoming space to reconnect. We poured wildcrafted beers made with native ingredients, hosted live music and community events, and built a reputation as a go-to spot for good food and even better company. From casual evenings in the beer garden to packed weekends with friends, Beerburg became a beloved gathering place for our Hill Country neighbors.
2024 Onward
Sharing the Beerburg Love
In 2024, Beerburg transitioned from a destination brewery to a private event venue with limited public hours. As part of this shift, Trevor moved to Oregon and handed the reins to his twin brother Ross, who grew out his beard and stepped in, much to the confusion of the larger community. With over a decade of management experience, Ross now leads Beerburg into its next chapter. He is joined by longtime staff Gino (Brewer) and Zach (Kitchen & Facilities), and we welcome our newest team member Kellee, an experienced event planner. Together, we look forward to sharing our passion for the Texas Hill Country by hosting events for the community, our friends, and good folks seeking good times! Cheers Y’all!

Hear From Our Neighbors and Guests
At Beerburg Events, we take pride in creating seamless, memorable experiences for every occasion. But don’t just take our word for it—see what our guests have to say!
We hosted a corporate event at Beerburg and could not have been happier with how it turned out. The indoor space was inviting and comfortable with the most beautiful Hill Country views. The dedicated team at Beerburg was so helpful and thoughtful throughout the process, from booking to cleanup! Not only was the event seamlessly executed, it felt great to support a locally owned business with the best brewer and staff in town. Thank you for helping us host our event, Beerburg!

We had such a great time here! There were five of us — 4 adults and a first grader — and we snagged the couches as a comfortable place to drink and chat. We love the beers, and the salsa/queso/guacamole appetizer was yummy. We enjoyed the brisket tacos as well. Nice play area for the kids!

What a great brewery! It's down the way from Jester King! Outside has a fantastic view, dog friendly, with disc golf baskets. Inside area is large with very helpful staff, and games for everyone.
Good was excellent, beers were cold, and we were so happy we finally made it to this gem.
